Day 1 | Kilimanjaro Day Hike via Marangu Route
Drive from Moshi or Arusha to Marangu Gate (~1.5 hours from Moshi, ~2.5 hours from Arusha). Begin your guided hike through lush rainforest to Mandara Hut (2,700 m), enjoying waterfalls, exotic birds, and monkeys along the way. Explore Maundi Crater and enjoy lunch before returning. Hiking time: 6–8 hours. Overnight at hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
Kilimanjaro Day Hike Highlights

Day 2 | Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
Drive approximately 180 km (~3–4 hours) to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the crater for a full-day private game drive, Picnic lunch provided in the crater. In the late afternoon, ascend to the crater rim and transfer to lodge near Lake Manyara or Karatu. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3 | Lake Manyara National Park Safari & Return to Arusha
Drive approximately 30 km (~30 minutes) to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. Spot tree-climbing lions, flamingos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, and hippos. After your safari, return to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport (~2–3 hours) for your onward journey.
Lake Manyara National Park Highlights
Lake Manyara offers a mix of forest, lake, and open plains in a compact park. It is well known for tree-climbing lions, large groups of baboons, flamingos along the lake shore, and beautiful scenery. Wildlife viewing is easy, making it a great short safari stop and perfect for beginners.
